Margarita 'Tita' Mendoza

GENEVA - Margarita Mendoza, 50 passed away on Wed. (Dec. 23), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Wed. (Dec. 28), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Margarita was born on Dec. 13, 1961 in Chicage, IL and was a daughter of the Ana Davila and the late Felix Mendoza. She was known to be a kind woman who opened her home to anyone.

She is survived by her mother, Ana Davila of TX; son, Melvin Torres, Jr. of Geneva; daughters, Delila Mendoza, Ethaina Torres and Veronica Torres, all of Geneva; two brothers; grandchildren, Lydia Smith, Van McLaurin, Ethaina Marie Tofiga and many dear friends.
