Anna C. DiRaddo GENEVA - Anna C. DiRaddo, 94, passed away Wed. (Dec 1, 2010) at the Geneva Living Center - North. Friends may call from Sun. (Dec. 5) from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. Mon. (Dec. 6) with prayers at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or the Wounded Warriors Project, 7020 A.C. Skinner Parkway, Jacksonville, FL. 32256. Anna was born May 6, 1916, in Geneva, and was a daughter of the late Lodivico and Nunziata (Palmizo) Tarantelli. She was a graduate of Geneva High School where she played played softball and basketball. Anna was employed at Stern's Nursery, Ace Automatics and sold real estate for Kay Moses. She was involved with the Senior Citizens, and was an active member of St. Francis De Sales Church, where she served as a treasurer for many years. Anna was married to Anthony 'Tony' DiRaddo for 44 years and had two loving children, Mary Ann and Tony. She loved her family very much, but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her special treasures. Anna loved her long visits with them and they all loved Grandma and Nanie. She will be sadly missed by her family, in its entirety. Her home was always filled with family and friends, and she loved to entertain. Cooking was her specialty. Word searches, playing cards and crocheting were her hobbies. Anna was known to have made countless baby sweaters and blankets for her family. She will be missed dearly by those who loved her. Anna's family would like to thank the staff at the Living Center North, 2nd floor. The Hastings, Hartsfield and DiRaddo family will never forget how wonderful you all were to their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Bob) Hastings of Broken Arrow, OK; son, Tony (Lynette) DiRaddo of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Col. Brian (Eileen) Hastings of Tucson, AZ, Scott (Lynn) Hastings of Kanosha, WI, Wendy(Keith) Hartsfield of San Diego, CA and Jordan DiRaddo of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emily and Ryan Hastings, children of Scott and Lynn, Sean, Jake and Luke Hastings, children of Brian and Eileen, Shannon, Melissa and Brendan Hartsfield, children of Wendy and Keith; sister, Ella Forgensi of Vestel; brother-in-law, Joe (Kay) DiRaddo; sisters-in-law, Rachel Feligno of Geneva, Elsie DiRaddo of Rochester, Nellie DiRaddo of Auburn, NY, and several nieces and nephews Anna was predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony 'Tony' DiRaddo in 1986; brothers, Donald, Orlando and Patrick Tarantelli; sister, Doris Chantra; sisters-in-law, Mary Donahue, Angie DiRaddo, Anna M. DiRaddo, Anna Tarantelli and Mary Tarantelli; brothers-in-law, Emilio, Albert, Nicholas and John DiRaddo, Robert Donahue and Sully Feligno.
