(Aug. 7), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Mon. (Aug. 8), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Louis was born on Oct. 29, 1927, in Geneva and was the son of the late Santi and Concetta (Trevi) Pasqua. He graduated from De Sales High School in 1946. Louis had many interests in his life, but his interest in television electronics would provide a career and livelihood in his early years. This was during the infancy of the television. Initially he worked for several repair shops, but eventually opened his own shop. Religious beliefs and convictions predominated his life. He lived and practiced the word of God here on earth. His way was a silent greatness that was manifested in daily deeds, prayer, meditation and unselfish charity—"… for the least of my brethren…" Louis was an instrument of our Lord. His righteous influence stretched beyond his family to all the members of the community. In the early 1960's, Louis became a member of the Third Order of Franciscans taking the name of Mario. His niece, Connie and his nephew, Jackie Jr, were also ordained in the same order. He had a special devotion top the Blessed Virgin Mary. Each car he owned, had a prominently mounted Virgin Mary Statue on the roof. For the believers, it was a reminder to prayer and made people think of the Blessed Virgin. He is survived by his sister, Frances (Jim) Mastin of Syracuse; numerous nieces and nephews. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Santi and Concetta Pasqua; his brothers, Jack and Lawrence Pasqua and his sister Amelia Simon.
