Susan Michaela Sciarabba CLIFTON SPRINGS/GENEVA - Susan Michaela Sciarabba (Sue, Aunt Sue), passed away peacefully on Friday (August 12, 2016), at the young age of 52, with her loving family by her side. The family invites you to attend a service for Susan at 10:30 AM on Friday (August 19, 2016), at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 48 Pulteney St. Geneva, NY 14456. Sue spent most of her short life smiling, laughing and making friends wherever she would go. She was born in Geneva, NY on May 1, 1964, a place she truly loved. At the young age of 3 Sue was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Hystiocytosis X and spent many years courageously fighting for her life. She overcame this terrible disorder after many years of treatment and from the age of 15 until Susan was 50, she stayed in remission. She lived life to the fullest and never felt sorry for herself. Susan will be remembered by so many for her positive attitude and infectious laugh. She had so many close friends and would like all of them to know that she loves them, "love and peace". Susan loved being a part of a large family, she always contacted each of us on our birthdays, anniversaries and even remembered our brother Steve on Veteran's Day. She so loved being with her nieces and nephews. Susan is survived by her mother, Nancy (Judge Arnold Ciaccio) Sciarabba; sister, Delaine (Dave Barnick) George; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Dawn Sciarabba; brother, August Sciarabba; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Chris Christofalo; sister, Vivian (David Gwynn) Sciarabba; special sister-in-law, Lori Sciarabba; nieces and nephews, who were like her own children, Alissha (David) Skinner, Leah (Matt) Andracke, Alex George, Stephen Sciarabba, Kristin (Travis) Morgan, Kara Sciarabba, Kaci Sciarabba, Kayla Sciarabba, Sergio Christofalo, Angela Calabrese, Joseph Calabrese, Gina (Aaron) Bartlett; our newest additions, great-nieces and nephew, Noelle, Adalynn and Amare; her very special friend, Herbie Rivera; aunt, Diane, uncle, Nunzio and many cousins. She was predeceased by her dad Frank Sciarabba in 1999 and has now joined him to watch over all of us.
