Mildred Sparrow Smith
GENEVA- Mildred Sparrow Smith, 90, Passed into the Arms of her Lord and Savior on Sun. (Oct. 2, 2016), at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tues. (Oct. 11), at Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ, 21 Milton St. Geneva. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mildred was born on April 26, 1926, in Sanford, FL and was a daughter of the late Pasco and Leola (Walker) Caldwell.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Sturdivant of Silver Spring, MD; son James (Shannon Steele) Smith; step-son; J.B. Smith of Ontario; grandchildren, Jamahl, Andre and Dama; great-grandchild, Damiel; numerous cousins and friends.
Mildred was predeceased by her husbands, Rev. James Smith and Jim Sparrow; daughter, Jessie Smith and brothers, David and Alfred.
