Paul Warren Bove' ROMULUS- Paul Warren Bove', passed away at the age of 79 early Monday morning, October 17,2016 in Romulus, New York. His memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 5th at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Great Falls, VA. 22066, with a private reception to follow in the village at Katie's in the Old Brogue from 2-4pm. Paul was born in Portland Oregon, August 8,1937 - the first-born son of La Roy and Isabelle Bove'. At the age of 11 his family moved to Arlington Virginia. As a young man be began several thriving businesses around the Northern Virginia area. He later settled in the town of Great Falls, Va. where he spent the last 30 years of his life. He was an independent student of Global history, and had acquired a wealth of knowledge on many topics- he was a lover of classical music and the opera; a deep interest he shared with his wife Meenakshi. Paul enjoyed recounting many wonderful stories about his life experiences with family and, friends. Paul would often encourage and mentor the many young people who worked for him over the years advising them that they try to be the best they can be, with many of them moving on to successful carriers and occupations. Paul had a profound love of animals owning several dogs and horses over his lifetime. He also enjoyed working on the family farm he and his wife purchased in Romulus, NY 13 years ago. They happily split their time between the two residences. He was very active in the community, assisting neighbors when snowed in, or with tree or home emergencies. He was also responsible for developing, clearing and maintaining all the riding trails, in particular for "Lift Me Up", a Therapeutic Riding Center in Great Falls, Virginia. He enjoyed and cherished his many grand children often taking them on long cross country road trips. He made every effort regardless of distance to attend milestone events in his grand children's lives. He was well loved and respected by all who knew him and his presence in our lives will be missed. Paul was a caring and devoted husband, father, grand father, and great grand father. He lived a full and happy life and is survived by: his wife Meenakshi HJ. Bove', and their collective aggregate families: Caroline Grossmann - Nicholas Grossmann, and Vincent Grossmann, Clifford and Cynthia James, Kyla James, Devan James, and Avi James, Patricia Hays and Herman Sweet, Bree Maraux, Cindy Petty, and Tom Hays, Kevin and Arlene Bove', Kathleen Meyer, Gabriella O'Brien, Christopher Bove' & Julie Bove', Mark Smith-Bove', Isabelle Smith-Bove', and Alexander Smith-Bove'; eight great grand children; his brother Phillip Bove' of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
