Helen M. Liberatore GENEVA- Helen M. Liberatore, 89, passed away peacefully on Mon. (March 27, 2017). In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Thurs. (March 30), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Geneva. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Helen was born on December 10, 1927, in Seneca Falls and was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Komarnycky) Blawski. She worked at the Green Gardens on Reed St., S&H Green Stamp Store, FA Church Hardware and retired from the Lobby Shop in Geneva General Hospital. Helen enjoyed playing games, especially cards and loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She is survived by her sons, Peter (Sharon) Liberatore of Geneva and Joseph Liberatore of Lyons; daughter, Patricia (Peter) Bruni of Geneva; grandchildren, Brian, Peter, Alyssa and Anna Liberatore; great-grandchildren, Giana and Ava; several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Peter Liberatore, Sr.; brothers, Michael, John and Joseph Blawski; sisters, Pauline Matthews, Stella Ashley, Michelina Greer, Lena Drajem, Victoria Salotti, Josephine Deming and Amelia Soboleski.
