Thelma C. Bardeen GENEVA- Thelma C. Bardeen, 93, passed away peacefully on Sun. (Jan. 21, 2018), at the Seneca Nursing Home in Waterloo. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Fri. (Jan. 26), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Sat. (Jan. 27), in Oaklawn Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620, or the American Cancer Society, 1400 N Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14609. Thelma was born on Aug. 10, 1924, in Newark, NY and was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Gutteling) Craver. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Geneva and Tops # 672. Thelma volunteered at Geneva General Hospital and for Meals on Wheels. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by her daughters, Bettie Olsen of Geneva, Kathleen (Ronald) Benjamin of Canandaigua, Faye Stein of Auburn and Sharon (Paul) Perrotto of Waterloo; sister, Genevieve Gurnee of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Richard Olsen, Anina Olsen, Belinda Bacher, Kevin (Christine) Benjamin, Ronda (Chris) Hirtzel, Patricia Anderson, Penny (Dan) Goldsmith and Barbara (Marc) Herbert; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her first husband, William D. Sanderson in Jan. 1945 ; second husband of 60 years, William Bardeen in Dec. 2006; son-in-law, Dayton Olsen in Sept. 2013.
