George E. Hetelekides CANANDAIGUA- George E. Hetelekides, 45, passed away on Thurs. (April 19, 2018), at home. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Mon. (April 23), at St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 98 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. in the church, with the V. Rev. Fr. Gregory Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church 98 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456, or Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 162 East Ave. Rochester, NY 14607. George was born on Sept. 13, 1972 in Rochester and was a son of Parthena "Betty" (Panitsidis) Hetelekides and the late Eleftherios Hetelekides. He was a popular business owner in the Finger Lakes area. George was always surrounded by good company. He enjoyed traveling and hanging out with his friends and family. He will always be remembered for being larger than life and loved by all. He is survived by his mother, Parthena "Betty" Hetelekides of Victor; brother, Mehael "Mike" (Angela) Hetelekides of Victor; nephews, Leftedi, Stevie and Thanasi; many aunts, uncles, cousins; girlfriend Sarah and her children AJ and JC Clifford and friends. In addition to his father George was predeceased by his brother, Nikos Hetelekides.
