GENEVA- Eleanor R. Hartman, 96, passed away peacefully on Tues. (May 4, 2021), at the Huntington Nursing Home in Waterloo, NY. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Mon. (May 10), at the First Baptist Church, 134 N. Main St. Geneva, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., in the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Eleanor was born on Dec. 9, 1924, in Geneva, NY and was the daughter of the late Paul and Laura (VanSickle) Rosenthal. She worked as a floral designer for various florists in the area. Eleanor was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Geneva, NY and the Geneva Women's Club. She enjoyed creating flower arrangements and caring for her family. She is survived by her sons, Paul (Glenda) Hartman of Swain, NY, Gary (Judy) Hartman of Waterloo, NY, Chuck (Sylvia) Hartman of Monroe, GA and Jay (Linda) McCann of Bradenton, Fla.; grandchildren, Kris, David, Lisa, Gary, Heather, Tim, Roxana, Sara, Kathy, Justin, Kerry, Rhonda, Ricky and Tammy; numerous great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Charles B. Hartman, Jr.; step-father, Dr. E.G. Padgham; brothers, Clair, Richard, Donald, Kenny, Earl and Harold Rosenthal; granddaughter, Kathy Orlopp.
