GENEVA- Olga Marie Marino, 90, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (July 14, 2022), at home, with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sat. (July 16), at St. Francis De Sales Church, Geneva, NY. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Anyone wishing to send a memorial gift may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Olga was born in Geneva, NY to Yolanda and Carmen Liberatore and graduated with the highest honor from De Sales High School. She enjoyed working at the Lyons Drug Store In high school. The other positions she held were with the New York Telephone Company as an operator, an Ontario County voting inspector and she was "SARGE" of the North Street School as a cafeteria monitor. She was a passionate and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition, she was often referred to as the best women's softball player in the Geneva Recreation League. She is survived by her five children, Patricia Marino of Geneva, NY, Ava (Dan Steinkohl) Spader of Geneva, NY, Thomas (Nancy) Marino of Seneca Falls, NY, Elaine (Daniel) Pufnock of Geneva, NY and Michael (Carol) Marino of Frisco, TX; her loving grandchildren, Rebecca (Keith) Scherer-Erickson, David (Kim) Scherer, Jason (Charlene Reid) Spader, Dana (Austin) McNally, John (Leia) Marino, Kathleen (Charles) Barbay, JoAnna Pufnock, Daniel (Ashley Pinter) Pufnock, Bryan Marino and Matthew Marino; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Marino, Aurora Marino, Lumyn Barbay, Lana Barbay, Maxwell Scherer, Madelyn McNally and Evan McNally. Olga was predeceased by her beloved husband, Avis "Fuzzy" Marino; siblings, Raymond Liberatore, Thomas Liberatore, Mario Liberatore and Dorothy Evangelista.
