AUBURN- Sharlene S. Lawrence, 57, passed into the Arms of her Lord and Savior on Thurs. (Dec. 28, 2023), at Auburn Community Hospital, surrounded by her son and sister. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fri. (Jan. 5), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.

Sharlene was born on April 28, 1966, in Oklahoma City, OK and was a daughter of the late William and Lorina (McLaughlin) Slade. She worked as a home health aide and as a laborer at Seneca Foods in Geneva. Sharlene was a perpetual caretaker, always interested in the well-being of others. She was always there when someone needed her. Sharlene loved kids and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her son, James Brian Lawrence of Auburn; sisters, Jewell Johnson of NC, Anita (Jim) Killburg of NJ, Gwendolyn (Erral) Bailey of Gorham and JoAnn Sepega of Rochester; former husband, James Lawrence of Farmington and several nieces and nephews.
