GENEVA- Robert "Bob" Arndt, 88, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025 at The House of John. Family and friends are invited to call from 12 noon to 2 pm on Friday, Feb.21, at the Palmisano-Mull funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. His prayer service will follow Military Honors at 2 pm at the funeral home.



Contributions may be made to The House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, 14432 in Bob's memory.



Born in Syracuse, NY on April 11, 1936, Bob was a son of the late Daniel and Edna (Hauf) Arndt. A graduate of Waterloo High School, he went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army. After completing his military service. Bob and his brother-in-law, Bob Ennis Sr., purchased and operated the Post Restaurant in Waterloo, which he ran for many years. Following his time in the restaurant business, he joined Ace Automatics, where he held various roles, including route driver, food service operations manager, and warehouse manager.



Bob was a proud member of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, and the North Seneca Sportsman's Club. An avid outdoorsman, he had a passion for fishing and hunting. When the weather was warm, he could often be found on the golf course, enjoying a round with his friends.



He is survived by his son Chris Arndt (Mary Ellen) of North Bend, Washington; grandchildren Ethan and Abigail; and many nieces and nephews.



Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 58 years, Florence; his brothers, Daniel, Marvin, Herman, John, and Philip; his sister, Jane Lawson; sisters-in-law Louisa and Flossie; and brother-in-law, Lee "Bud" Lawson.



Bob will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed.
