GENEVA-Josephine Tanner, 87, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025 at the Huntington Nursing Home, Waterloo. Family and friends may attend a funeral mass at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at St. Francis de Sales Church, 130 Exchange Street, Geneva. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum.

Josephine was born February 14, 1938 in Geneva, NY and was the daughter of the late Lena (Augustine) and Carmelo Ficcaglia. She loved to cook and bake.

She is survived by her son Ronald P. Tanner, Jr of Waterloo; daughter Sharyl Krone of Waterloo; brother Joseph (Linda) Ficcaglia of Geneva; grandchildren Adam Tanner, Jonathan, Matthew and Robert Preston; great grandchildren AJ and Andrew Tanner.

Josephine is predeceased by her husband Ronald P. Tanner, Sr; daughter Kathleen Shirley and brother Vincent Ficcaglia.
