Jeanne Springmeier Klomser

GENEVA-Jeanne Klomser, 97, passed away just shy of her 98th birthday at the Seneca Nursing Home on March 15, 2025 with her family at her side. Family and friends may call from 12 noon to 2 pm on Wednesday, April 2, at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A private burial will be at Sandhill Cemetery.

Contributions made be made to St. Jude's Children Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in Jeanne's memory.

Jeanne was born March 20, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH and was a daughter of the late George and Nina Brogan. She enjoyed her career at the Finger Lakes Times and Humprey Press for many years.

She is survived by her daughter Ellen (Robert) Lynah of Rochester; son Mark Springmeier of Phelps; grandchildren Sarah and Scott Howard and Jeffrey (Olga) Springmeier; great grandchildren Shaun, Sadie and Collin Howard and AJ Springmeier; several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne is predeceased by her husband Richard Klomser; sons Michael Springmeier and Dennis Brogan; brother George Brogan and sister Jacqueline Fricke.
