Johnny Robinson GENEVA- Johnny Robinson, 73, passed away suddenly into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Sunday (April 6, 2025) at his home with Geisha at his side. Family and friends may call from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Wed., (April 16) at Mt. Calvary COGIC, 21 Milton Street, Geneva. His funeral service will follow at the church. Johnny was born December 28, 1951 in Hartford, Alabama and was a son of Annie Lou McGuire and the late Carl Robinson. He retired from International Paper in 2001 and went onto work at FLACRA for 15 years. Johnny was a member of Mt Calvary COGIC for many years. He loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. He's known for his unique laugh. Johnny is survived by his loving wife Geisha (Rodriguez) Robinson of Geneva; Mother Annie Lou McGuire of Geneva; son Johnny Robinson of Canandaigua; step sons Christopher Dean (Melissa) Gay of New Paltz and Timithy James Gay of Canandaigua; daughter Lanetta (Anthony) White of Rochester; brothers Junior Robinson of FL, Robert Robinson of Geneva, Huey J. (Jackie) Robinson of NC; sister Glenn Hendrix of Waterloo; grandchildren Brooklyn Robinson, Purcella Lee, Attiyanna Stanin, Nadine White and Damonte White; great grandchildren Jacob Gay, Shayna Gay and Madilyn Steiner; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Jackson; brother Benjamin Robinson; grandson Tevaugh Carver.
