GENEVA-Mary L. Principio, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday (July 12, 2025) at her home with her family at her side. In honoring Mary wishes, services and burial were private.

Mary was born on January 31, 1930 in Geneva, NY and was a daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Shepard) Bruno. She was a homemaker until her children grew up then went on to work at Lochland School for 24 years with residents that had intellectual disabilities, she was known as Mary P. Mary was devoted to the teachings of the Catholic Church. She loved her Sunday dinners with her family, gardening, knitting, crocheting, quilting, traveling, movies with a lot of popcorn and feeding the birds and squirrels. Mary had several pet cats and dogs.

She is survived by her children Andrew L. (Marie) Principio, Jr, Charlene A. Principio, Richard M. (Jeanine) Principio, and Donna Principio; grandchildren Andrew L. Principio, III, Mary L. Principio, Emily A. Principio, David (significant other, Caitlin) Principio, and Giavanna M. White-Principio; great grandchildren Michael A. (Megan) Principio, Surrylee W. Smith, David J. Principio, Jr., Charlotte and Ryan; Great great grandchildren Dominic Principio and Declan Principio; sister Peggy (Bruno) Bates. Five Generations of Principio's!!

Mary is predeceased by her husband Andrew L. Principio; infant baby girl; 2 brothers Anthony Bruno and Ernie (Rooster) Bruno; sister-in-law Irene Fratto, her best friend in life are joined again in eternal life.
