Dr. James "Curtis" Watson: Canandaigua/Waterloo
Curtis was born in Canandaigua, NY. (5/16/1952 to 7/23/2025).
Curtis is survived by his beloved "Jack"; wife Susan; his sister Roberta of Florida; and Susan's family: Robin (Dan) of Newark, Heather (Don) of Geneva and Dan (Gail) of Waterloo. JC will be missed by his best friend Anthony Validzic until Tony joins him in heaven. Curtis is also survived by his daughters Megan and Olivia and grandson Watson, and sister-in-law Marilou Long of Florida.
After retirement he spent many years traveling and enjoying life with Susan. They were married 13 days shy of 23 years. Curtis was an active member of Geneva Christian Fellowship (GCF) and lived the church's mission of grace, Biblical truth, and God's love. Curtis had many friends at church that he loved dearly. Curtis was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and enjoyed helping boaters while patrolling on various lakes in the area, as well as other auxiliary duties. He was involved with several sportsmen clubs and enjoyed teaching people about firearm safety.
Curtis was a lifelong resident of the Finger Lakes and practiced chiropractic in the area for almost 40 years offering quality care to his patients. Curtis graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 1981 and retired from his practice in December 2019.
