GENEVA-Donald E. Shattuck I, 86, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 at Geneva Living Center North with his family at his side. Family and friends may attend a Celebration of Life on Friday, August 29, from 4 pm to 8 pm at F-n-A Rhythm And Booze, 3 S. Virginia Street, Waterloo, NY.

Donald was born on August 23, 1938 in Olean, NY and was a son of the late William and Laura (Gross) Shattuck. He was a heavy Equipment Operator for JW Excavators, Geneva for many years.

He is survived by his wife Juanita (Backus) Shattuck; children Tammy Lamb, Donald Shattuck II, Annette Huber and Dody Dyson; brother Douglas; grandchildren Tiphany Lamb, Richard Tessaro, Brian Tessaro. April Evans, Laura Baran, Kayla Snow and Tyler Dyson; 28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Donald is predeceased by his brother William Shattuck.
