Joseph Anthony Ficcaglia, Sr




GENEVA- Joseph A. Ficcaglia,81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (September 3, 2025) at Geneva Living Center surrounded by his family. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday (Sept. 7) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (Sept. 8) at 10:00 am in St. Frances De Sales Church. His burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.




Joe was born on November 16, 1943 in Geneva and was a son of the late Carmelo and Lena (Augustine) Ficcaglia. He graduated from De Sales High School. Joe worked at American Can, Sylvania and retired in 2006 from Local 103. He was a member of The American Legion. Joe loved to hunt, dance, have coffee with his friends at the diner, and spend time playing with his granddaughters.




He is survived by his wife of 58 yrs, Linda (Marchionda) Ficcaglia; son Joseph Ficcaglia, Jr; daughter Tara (Nicholas) Gresock; grandchildren Joseph A. Ficcaglia, III, John Ficcaglia, Hannah Gresock and Allie Gresock.




Joe is predeceased by his brother Vincent Ficcaglia; sisters Rosie Krebbs and Josephine Tanner.
