Ida DiDuro
GENEVA- Ida DiDuro, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Geneva General Hospital with her loving husband at her side. Family and friends may attend A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 31, at 10:00 am in St. Francis De Sales Church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum.
Contributions may be made to St. Francis and St. Stephen Church, 130 Exchange Street, Geneva in her memory.
Ida was born in Ciuitalupalla, Italy and was a daughter of the late Carlo and Elizabeth (Ricci) Schieda. She worked at Hulse Manufacturers and later Alleson of Rochester in Geneva. Ida was devoted to her church and husband. She loved to cook and clean.
She was survived by her loving husband for 61 years, Mariano DiDuro; sisters Maria (Antonio) Taburino and Francesa (Mariano) DiGironimo of Italy; many nieces and nephews.
Ida is predeceased by her sister Antonia Costanzi.
