James Edward Allen

GENEVA- James E. Allen, 74, passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday (January 9, 2026) at Abundance Grace Church, 18 Snell Road, Geneva, NY. His funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery.

James was born on March 9, 1951 in Cowpens, SC and was a son of late Bob Morgan and Clara Allen. He worked for LA Johnson Construction, Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife Ruthie Mae Allen; children Brenda Evans, Carolyn Archibald, Connie Sims, Michele Daymon, and Tina Archibald; daughter-in-law Lisa Archibald; brother Bobby (Terry) Allen; sister Janet Allen; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James is predeceased by his son Irvin Archibald and son-in-law Calvin Evans.
