Jane M. "Jami" Brinson Obituary

Jami "Nana" Roberts passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born on August 8, 1960, in Geneva, New York, to John and Jacqueline (Fegley) Roberts. Jami graduated from Geneva High School in 1978 and then went on to become a waitress for many years, serving people with her beautiful personality. She met many friends along the way who became family during these years. On April 18, 1981, she married Dave Davoli where she went on to start her family and had her daughters, Devon and Arli Davoli. Jami lived her life "her way" and was the light in every room she entered. No matter who you were, she never judged and always welcomed everyone into her life and home with open arms; she lived for the ones she loved. Along with the love she had for her family, she spent a lot of time throughout her days doing the hobbies she loved most. She enjoyed Live After 5, quick draw at the smoke shop, BINGO bus trips, Del Lago with Devon, and her pool, but her most favorite was having the presence of her grandbabies around who she adored and stopped everything for. She was the foundation of her family, the one everyone called on for every and anything with no hesitation, ever; she was there! She loved the company of many but enjoyed having coffee every night with her children's father, David. Although her house reflected that she loved Christmas, summer was one of her favorites. She hosted a lot of memorable days alongside her pool where everyone was welcomed, day and night, no matter who you were. Jami started traditions that her family will be able to carry on over the years. From her famous sauce that was requested for every event, mixy mixy (baking) with her grandbabies, frittatas on easter and matching pajamas on Christmas, just to name a few. To know Nana was to know a one-of-a-kind love.

Nana is survived by her siblings, Terri (Richard) Egan, Micki (Soapy) Madia, Sandi Brennan, John (Meg) Roberts Jr., Michael (Pam) Roberts; her children's father, David Davoli; her two daughters, Devon Davoli and Arli Davoli; Bonus daughters, Kimeka (Erwin) Wineglass, Anenitra Carter; her grandchildren Giavaughni (Jeremy) Robinson-Davoli, Iandre' Robinson, Javahnte' (Jilian) Harrison, Ahjaleaha (Quincey) Robinson, Shannon (Mikayla) Praylor, Xavier Praylor, Jayceon (JJ) Sgabellone; her great grandchildren, Jondiel (JonD) Harrison, Nyne (Nyne Girl) Brant, Essence (Essy Boy) Johnson, Meruem (Bug) Praylor; a host of nieces and nephews; her special friends, Kathy, Willie, and Gina.
