Sharon Louise Urbano

Sharon Urbano, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday (March 2, 2026) at Geneva General Hospital with her family at her side. In honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. The family will have a private prayer service.

Sharon was born on August 24, 1944 in Waterloo, NY and was a daughter of the late Carl and Hester (Beach) Swim. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother and Nana. She was also a "bonus" mother to several of her children's friends. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She decorated the most beautiful and unique Christmas trees with a different theme each year. She was also very generous, not only providing gifts for her family and friends, but also donating to various organizations throughout the holiday season. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, vacationing in Florida and spending time with her family. She began her career as a beautician and ended it in home health care where she cared for several people in the area.

She is survived by her husband Anthony Urbano; children Mike (Stacey) Swim, Barb (Mike) Doeblin, Richard (Robyn) Urbano, Steve (Kelly) Urbano, Scott (Shelly) Urbano; grandchildren Ian Swim, Aerica and Lucas Maslyn, Alicia McNeil, Anthony, Jacob, and Hailey Urbano, Cayden Urbano; great grandchildren Kendal, Ariana, Julian, Jovani; several nieces and nephews.

Sharon is predeceased by her siblings Jerome Swim, Vernon Swim, Ray Swim, Leonard Swim, Ross Swim, Carol Curran and Melvina Swim.
