Geneva- Patrick Fiore Bruno passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026 with his family by his side. Pat was born in Geneva 1952 to Patrick (Patsy) Bruno and Margaret Chapman. After graduating from Geneva High School, Pat served in the U.S. Army as a medical specialist. He later spent the majority of his career working for the State of New York in the mental health field, most notably as a residential program counselor for the Rochester Psychiatric Center.

In his youth, Patrick was a dedicated athlete. He played football and lacrosse, and was a proud member of the Columbus Lacrosse Club. He later shared his love for the game by coaching youth football in Geneva. Pat had a rare, natural talent for connecting with people from all walks of life—whether he was speaking with a lifelong friend or a complete stranger. Blessed with an effortless "gift of gab," he was a mentor to many, always ready with a witty quip or a piece of profound life advice.

In his retirement years, Pat looked forward to his annual tradition of trading the cold New York winters for the warmth of Florida, with his daughter. These annual trips became the highlight of his year, allowing him to trade the grey Geneva winters for bright Florida days filled with family, laughter, and the simple joy of a long conversation under the sun.

He is survived by his daughter Andraea (AJ) Bruno; son-in-law Michael Evans; and his cherished grandchildren: Remy Jarob Bruno, Alexander Evans, and Hella Fiore Bruno, all of whom brought him tremendous joy. Pat is also survived by his brother James (Hazel) Bruno; his sisters, Rosemarie (Brian) Bruno-Hess and Mary Bruno Maddox; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Jarob Nicholas Bruno.

A celebration of life will be held on March 28 at the Geneva American Legion Winnek Post #396, 1011 Route's 5 & 20, Geneva, NY  beginning at 1 p.m. All are welcome.
