Nathaniel "Nate" Brinson

GENEVA- Nathaniel Brinson, 81, passed away into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at FF Thompson Hospital. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday (April 3) at the First Love Church Of God's Revealed Truth Inc, 125 Border City Road, Geneva, NY. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church.

Nate was born on June 6, 1944 in Madison, FL and was a son of the late Thomas Charles Brinson and Rose Bell (Johnson) Brinson. Nate was a very outstanding person doing Auto Body work and doll up jobs. He also loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his companion Loretta Simmons; children Annette Strokes, Bernette Banks and Nathaniel, Jr; siblings Janette Avery Brinson, Marcell Gramling, Juanita (Odell) Brinson, Roxanne (Nicholas) Troiano, Elsie (Armin) Dollar, Carolyn Brinson, Kathy (Danny) Singleton, Grace Mae Brinson, Barbara Brown Brinson, Tom (Grace) Brinson, Charlie Brinson, Jerry (Laura) Brinson and Tina (Carolyn) Archibal; grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Nate is predeceased by his sister Margaret Miller; brothers-in-law Marvin Avery and Bishop Harry L. Gramling.
