Obituary of John Leather III

WATERLOO-John Leather III, 79, passed away suddenly on Friday (June 19, 2026). Friends and family may call from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday (June 25), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at the Glenwood Cemetery.

John was born on September 20, 1946 in Geneva, and was a son of the late Anna (Galusha) and John Leather II. He graduated in 1965 from Geneva High School. His grandsons were his greatest pride and joy, and he was incredibly proud of their accomplishments.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Leather) Davoli, grandsons Anthony (Emily) Davoli and Frank Davoli; great grandson Benson Anthony Davoli; special friend Danny Beckers and Boston Terrier, Sam.

John is predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 yrs Barbara Ann (Kelsey) Leather; son John Leather IV; brother and sister.
