Artis Lee Grady
GENEVA - Artis Lee Grady, 82, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Wed. (Jul 20, 2011), at the Geneva Living Center - North. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mon. (July 25), at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 21 Milton St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, with military honors.
Artis was born May 3, 1929, in Sanford, FL, and was a son of the late Marshall and Lillie Grady. He was employed by Fratto Construction, as a laborer, for 28 years.
He is survived by his sons, Artis Grady, Jr., Marshall Grady, Keith Grady, Ken Grady and James (Diane) Grady; daughters, Maryann (Charles) Mills, Cleo Grady, Versa Rizzo, Lily (Paul) Moore and Lynn Payne; son-in-law, Tom Rowe and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Artis was predeceased by his loving wife, Fannie Mae Grady; daughter, Vera Rowe and daughter-in-law, Linda Grady.
