Obituary of Peter M. Zeoli

Peter M. Zeoli GENEVA- Peter M. Zeoli, 94, passed away peacefully and with his daughters by his side on Thurs. (Jan. 11, 2018), at the Geneva Living Center North. In honoring hi wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers and Mass cards, contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice. Peter was born on July 25, 1923, in Geneva and was a son of the late Angelo and Anna (DeMaria) Zeoli. He worked as a tailor and dry cleaner at Reale's and retired from the Laborers Union Local 435. Peter was proud of his homegrown hot peppers, tomatoes and homemade wine and would share with anyone he knew. The first sign of summer was to see him outside in his garden with his shirt off. Peter was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His great-granddaughter, Leah was the light of his life. Peter was a member of the Sons of Italy. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Perry of Geneva and Christina (Michael) Calabrese of Geneva; granddaughter, Andrea (Robert) Bouffiou of Geneva; great-granddaughter, Leah Bouffiou; sister, Mary Cardinale of Geneva; several nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Laquitara Zeoli; brother, Sam Zeoli; sister, Nancy Cataline; son-in-law, Tommy Perry.
