WATERLOO- Michael Angelo Morreale, 39, passed away on Tues. (July 12, 2022). A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Michael was born on July 14, 1982, in Lake Arrowhead, CA and was the son of Susan M. Hovis and Anthony "Tony" Morreale. He graduated from Waterloo High School and received an Associate's Degree in Environmental Science from FLCC. Michael traveled the world and developed "best friends" wherever he went. He had a sense of adventure and was well known for his opinions on music, world and environmental issues and his profound wisdom. Michael enjoyed mountain biking, traveling, listening to music, the outdoors and the love he shared with everyone around him, especially his family. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother, Susan M. Hovis of Bruin, PA; father, Anthony "Tony" Morreale of Sylvan Beach; sisters, Melissa (Robert Lineman) Morreale of Waterloo, Anna LaRocca of Seneca Falls and Kathryn Morreale of South Korea; nieces, Eleka Goncz, Ramona Goncz; nephew, Anthony LaRocca; paternal aunt, Kathrine (Glenn) Kamei of Waterloo; maternal uncle, Duffy Hovis of Utah; cousin, Kathryn (Gary) Hadyk of Waterloo; second cousins, Matthew Taylor of Batavia and Nico Hadyk of Waterloo; a host of best friends, especially his dog, Hunter.
Michael was predeceased by his maternal aunt, Maxine Hovis.
