Francis 'Fran' C. Fabrizio GENEVA- Francis 'Fran' C. Fabrizio, 78, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (Nov. 26, 2015), at the Geneva Living Center South. In honoring his wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Mon. (Nov. 30), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Fran was born on Feb. 9, 1937, in Geneva and was a son of the late Patsy J. and Theresa (Caito) Fabrizio. He worked as a Civilian Personnel Director for the United States Army, at the Seneca Army Depot and at many different United States Military installations around the world; during this time, Fran and Beverly lived abroad for 17 years spending time in Okinawa and Germany. While in Germany, Fran received the Andrew Foreman which is one of the highest awards the Army gives for Civilian Personnel Directors. He was a member of the Geneva High School Hall of Fame for basketball and football, a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and Big Oak Golf Course. Fran made three holes-in-one throughout his lifetime at local area golf courses. He loved volunteering at the Geneva Boys and Girls Club, coaching Little League football and helping with the after school program at Romulus Central School. Fran was a very talented artist specializing in pencil sketching and water colors. He enjoyed traveling with Beverly and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Fabrizio of Geneva; sons, Craig (Tamara) Fabrizio of Victorville, CA and Jeffrey Fabrizio of Winston-Salem, NC; daughters, Julie (Steve) Grady of Madison, AL and Gina Lynch of Seneca Falls; brother-in-law, Ken (Iris) Goodman of Highland Park, NJ; sisters-in-law, Roberta Fabrizio of Geneva, Marie (John) McGory of Geneva and Angela Quartaro of Geneva; grandchildren, Christian, Tyler and Laura Fabrizio, Robert and Alexander Fabrizio, Natalie Grady, Madison and Abigail Lynch; great-grandchildren, Marissa and Gabriel Fabrizio; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Fran was predeceased by his brother, John Fabrizio; brother-in-law, Dominick Quartaro and nephew, Stephen Quartaro; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose and George Goodman.
