GENEVA- Joan Helen Mann, 63, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Dec. 14, 2022), at home in the arms of her loving husband. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Mon. (Dec. 19), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Private burial will be held by the family in Oaklawn Cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105. Joan was born on Nov. 27, 1959, in Camden, NJ and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Diffalo) Murphy. She worked as a Cook Manager for the Geneva City School District, where she served hundreds of children daily for over 30 years, until her retirement. Joan loved caring for her house plants, going camping and having fires in her own backyard, thrifting, buying shoes, walking, hiking, and giving anything she could think of to her loved ones. Most of all spending time with her loving husband of 32 years, providing meals and caring connections to all of the students, and taking care of her family and grandchildren every day. She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Mann of Geneva; daughter, Carrie Mann of Geneva; sons, Vincent (Kellie) Johnson of Geneva and Adam Johnson of Geneva; brothers and a sister; grandchildren, Vincent II, Noelia, Naelyn, Brielle, Jack, Gabriella, Keara, Lillian, Mia and Killian; several cousins and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her son, Noah Johnson.
