Obituary of Judith A. Bianchi

WATERLOO - Judith A. (Gregory) Bianchi, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, (December 15, 2022). Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, (December 20) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva, N.Y. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, (December 21), at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Waterloo, N.Y. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Rochester, Holy Sepulcher Mausoleum. Judy was born on May 6, 1941, in Manhattan, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Kenny) Gregory. Judy was a 1959 graduate of Mother Cabrini High School. She then attended the Interboro Institute in New York City and began her career as a New York State Court Reporter for 25 years in Auburn, N.Y. Judy dedicated her life to her children, husband and family. She was an extraordinarily generous woman who selflessly gave from her heart and always placed others ahead of herself. She befriended many people along her journey and believed in making a difference to others around her. She had a unique perspective on life and offered her quiet wisdom to those she knew and loved. Her distinct sense of humor and cheerful smile will be missed by all. She is survived by her children, Gregory Bianchi, Teresa (Mike Hoban) VanTassel, Donna (Ken) Erskine, Karen (Jon) Bianchi Ritter and Michael (Rose Mendiola) Bianchi; brother and sisters-in-law Richard (Melisande) Bianchi, Sonia Bianchi Mott, Nancy Bianchi; and her life-long childhood friend, Gail Nakash; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Judy was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Bianchi; son, Andrew Bianchi; and sister, Eileen O'Neill-Feeney. The family would also like to acknowledge all of Judy's closest friends, who often visited and spent precious time with her.
