GENEVA- Jade Aaliyah Turner-Johns, 16, received her angel wings on Wed. (Jan. 25, 2023), at home. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Thurs. (Feb. 2), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be private. Contributions may be directed to Jacqueline Parara. A scholarship will be set up in Jade's name. Jade was born on Jan. 2, 2007, in Geneva. She was in her sophomore year at Geneva High School where she was fortunate to have many close relationships among peers, teachers, and staff. Jade loved nature, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. She was funny, creative, and insightful in ways that surpassed her years. Jade will be remembered as a kind soul whose compassion for others could be felt. She was incredibly caring and aspired to be a nurse. Her smile lit up any room she walked into. Jade was a best friend to many and an adoring sister. She will be missed tremendously, and ever in our hearts. Jade is survived by her mother, Jaci (Nathaniel) Parara; father, Alvie (Stefanie) Johns; grandmothers, Elaine Akens, and Juanita Mallory; siblings, Shauntrelle Hendrix- Johns, Alvie Johns III, Amani Johns, Zariyah Parara, Jason Turner, Jr., Lyric Turner, Gihanna Turner and Alyis Turner; maternal uncles, Brian Eddington, Pete Eddington and David Leone; paternal aunts Gloria Allen, Alansha Pugh, Taretha Douglas, paternal uncle Marquis Johnson; Godmother Jena Fuchs and several cousins.
