GENEVA- Elbert J. Foster, 63, passed away on Sat. (Jan. 28, 2023), at Home. A viewing was held at 11 a.m. Mon. (Feb. 6), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. The burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery.
Elbert was born on April 30, 1959, in Salem, AL and was a son of the late Elbert J. and Elizabeth (Brown) Foster. Elbert, better known as "Foster" attended the Kentucky Job Corp Center, where he did brick mason, mechanics and built houses. Shortly after, he relocated to Geneva. Foster enjoyed fishing as a hobby and spent a lot of time at the local barber shop in downtown Geneva, cleaning and attending to the barbers there.
He leaves to cherish his siblings, Shirley Boswell, Jeffrey Foster, Eddie Foster and Ezell (Williemae) Foster; uncles, Minister Arthur Lee Brown and James Brown; aunt, Ethel Brown. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
