Eliza Marie Blocker AUBURN- Eliza Marie Blocker, 74, passed away peacefully on Sun. (Feb. 12, 2023), at Auburn Community Hospital. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 18) at the Seneca Bible Baptist Church, 1859 Auburn Rd. Seneca Falls, NY. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the church. Eliza was born on August 25, 1948, in Deruyter, NY and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Clarissa (Oliver) Freeman. She retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance. Eliza volunteered at Seneca Bible Baptist School and was a devoted Baptist Christian. She loved animals and world history. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Russell Linz) Delello of Romulus; son William (Julie) Blocker of Waterloo; brothers Gene, George and Ray; sisters Hazel, Mary and Dora; grandchildren Shane, Lilly, Olivia, Arabella, Benjamin and McKenna; great grandchildren Alahna, Xander, Silas, Isaac, Kalani, Holten, Eli and Michael, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Eliza is predeceased by her husband William Blocker; sisters Cora Ebert and Doris Smith. The family is requesting that donation be made to Roswell Park Cancer treatment center in Buffalo.
