Othel Armstrong GENEVA-On Saturday, February 11th, Othel Armstrong passed into the Arms of Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Geneva General Hospital. The calling hours will be Friday, February 24th, 2023, from 9 to 10 a.m. at First Love Church of God's Revealed Truth, 125 Border City Rd. Geneva, NY. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Othel was born on September 14, 1940 in Sanford, Fla. and was a daughter of the late Floyd and Annie Bell (Russ) Culbert. She received a nursing certificate from Margaret Aires. Othel retired from Sylvania and worked at Zoto's International for many years. She loved to bowl and go fishing. Othel was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 1. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Armstrong; children, Frances Strongs, Michael (Brenda) Strongs and Edward (MacKenzie) Strongs; brothers, Thomas Way, Jr., and Jonathan Waye; sisters, Carol Louise Agee, Betty Jean Culbert and Judith (James) Griffin; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Othel was predeceased by her grandson, Andrew Hudson; sons, Floyd Dion and Benjamin Strongs; sister, Barbara Jean Johnson and Mae Ellen Culbert; and brother, Levon Waye.
