GENEVA- Dorothy A. Williams, 87, passed into the Arms of her Lord and Savior on Sun. (Feb. 26, 2023), at the Highlands at Brighton. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tues. (March 7), at Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ, 21 Milton St., Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wed. (March 8), at the Presbyterian Church in Geneva, 24 Park Place. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ, 21 Milton St. Geneva, NY 14456. Dorothy was born on Oct. 5, 1935, in Warm Springs, GA and was a daughter of the late Robert and Mini L. (Gamble) Jackson. She worked as a teacher's aide in the Geneva School District. Mother Williams served as Rev. Clarence Williams' wife, was a devoted member of Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ and was a biblical teacher and mentor. She was a district missionary for the church. Mother Williams' service to the church and her community will be revered forever. She is survived by her sons, Wallace (Carol) Mouzon, Curtis Lee Williams and Clarence M. (Sidney) Williams, Jr.; a host of church daughters; sister, Roberta (John) Hixson; goddaughter, Brenda Bryant; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rev. Clarence Williams; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
