Obituary of Teresa Zugec

Teresa Concetta Zugec GENEVA-Teresa Concetta Zugec, 85, passed away on Saturday (April 15, 2023) at Highlands of Pittsford with her family by her side. Family and friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A private prayer service will follow calling hours along with the burial. Teresa was born on October 29, 1937 in Geneva and was the daughter of Catherine (Morelli) and John Bruno. She was an entrepreneur. She started her business venture as hairdresser, owning her own beauty salon. Teresa went on to own J & T Hobbies, Raleigh Bike Shop, and a Laundry Mat. She ended her career working at St. Stephen's School. Teresa's biggest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her husband John Zugec II; son John (Tami) Zugec III of Geneva; daughter Christine (James) Richter of Sodus; brothers Louis (Marilyn) Bruno of Geneva and John (Linda) Bruno of PA; brother-in-law Steve Curry of Waterloo; grandchildren Matt (Cari) Aufman, Stephen (Jamie) Kenny , Christopher Kenny , Joe (Maggie) Kenny, Alyssa, Brady and Carson Zugec; great grandchildren Dylan Aufman, Mya, Robert, Nathaniel, Mason, and Delanie Kenny; many nieces and nephews. Teresa is predeceased by her sisters Carmella (Ralph) Calabrese, Katy Curry and Ursula (Tony) Manino; grandchildren Cooper Kenny and Jessica Auffman; nieces Maria Curry and Maria Nelson.
