James Sullivan Sr., age 91, of Geneva, passed away on April 19,2023. No memorial events are scheduled.

James was born in New York City on September 29, 1931, the son of Stephen and Ellen(Nellie)Sullivan. James entered the U.S. Air Force in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1953. In 1951, James married wife Margaret and they shared the next 55 years together. James was a long time member of Laborers Local 103 where he became president in his later years. He retired in 1996. He was an active member of the American Legion and an avid Notre Dame fan his entire life. Go Irish!!! He also loved the ponies. He was always upbeat and happy and was a great husband and father.

James is survived by his son James Jr.(Chicago/Tampa), his sister Eileen (Canaan, Connecticut), niece Marilyn Howard(Geneva) and close friends Frank Pane and Barbara Lee.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, brother Stephen, wife Margaret and in-laws Mary and Carmen Serrett.
