GENEVA- Patty Marie Stilwell Schultz, 58, of Geneva, N.Y., passed away on May 12, 2023, after being diagnosed with glioblastoma.

Patty was born in 1964 to Ralph and Julia Stilwell in Geneva, N.Y. Growing up, Patty, the youngest of her siblings, was daddy's little girl. She enjoyed Barbie dolls, country music, dancing, laughing, and above all, her family, especially their summer vacations to Brockville, Ontario, Canada. Patty developed an appreciation for Corvettes and became an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed cooking for her family. Patty had a daughter, Ann Marie Stilwell Castaneda. In 1991, Patty married Clifford "Kip" Schultz and they had a son named Raymond. They divorced in 1996. Patty found the most joy spending time with family and always put others before herself. Her smile was contagious.

Patty was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her siblings: Rodney (Cindy) Stilwell of Geneva, N.Y., Norm (Ania) Stilwell of Geneva, N.Y., Barry Stilwell (Walt Conkey) of Geneva, N.Y., Donna Stilwell of Elmira, N.Y. And her niece, Jordyn Stilwell of Geneva, N.Y.

Patty was blessed with grandchildren: Kayla Stilwell, Angelina Stilwell, Trinity Lobo, Jovanny Castaneda, Diana Castaneda, Isaiah del Angel, and Gina Lobo Stilwell. Patty had legal guardianship over Gina since the child was two years old. She shared her enormous love for Gina with her significant other, Don Bietsch, who loved and cared for Patty until her last breath.

Services will be held at Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home: 28 Genesee St, Geneva, N.Y., on Monday, May 15. Calling hours are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Patty will be taken to her final resting place at Sand Hill Cemetery in Stanley, N.Y.
