GENEVA-Daniel W. Boyd, 92, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Fri. (June 30, 2023). Family and friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. Fri. (July 7), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A prayer service will be at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, with Military honors.

Dan was born in Rochester, NY and was the son of the late Leon and Anne (Peters) Boyd. He served in the US Army for four years. Dan was an Over-the-Road truck driver for more than 30 years. He loved martial arts and was a black belt in Taekwon-Do. Dan was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren camping and fishing every weekend. He was a wonderful family man and welcomed everyone into his home.
Dan is survived by his wife of 69 years, Catherine M. (Codispoti) Boyd; two sons, Michael Boyd and Patrick (Sue) Boyd; two daughters, Donna (Rick) Whitmore and Gina (Emily Griffiths) Boyd; nine grandchildren, Mason Boyd, Braxton Boyd, Deanna Blakeman, Renee Medlock, Justin Whitmore, Jordan Whitmore, Nathan Boyd, Winston Boyd and Nelson Boyd; eight great grandchildren; two siblings, Beverly (Chester) Montgomery and Audrey Mustaki.
He was predeceased by his son Daniel J. Boyd, four brothers Allie, Leon, David and John and one sister Clara Whitehead.
