Wilma Diaz Acosta,75, of Geneva, New York, passed away on Aug. 28th, 2023, in Fairfax, Virginia. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mon. (Sept. 11), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Glenwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Thomas P. Mull presiding.

Wilma was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, to Luz Maria Ramos Diaz and Jose C. Diaz on December 5th, 1947. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time with family and friends.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Michelle Delcarmen Goss (Gerald Glenn Goss) of Tampa, FL; granddaughters, Isabella Grace Goss of Tampa, FL and Kaylee Madison Goss (Crispin Cortes) of Tampa, FL; sisters, Yadira Bliss (David Bliss) of Amherst, NY, Alma Martinez (Dexter Martinez) of Pembroke Pines, FL, and Hildega Diaz of Geneva, NY; and many neices and nephews that she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Miguel Acosta; parents, Luz Maria Ramos Diaz, and Jose C. Diaz; twin sister, Janette Rincon; brother, Wilfredo Diaz; niece, Hillary Hope Yulfo; nephew, Matthew Bliss; and nephew in-law Jose Manuel Calcorzi.

Wilma will be missed dearly by all of her friends and family.
