Janice M. Whitfield

SENECA FALLS- Janice M. Whitfield, 68, passed into the Arms of her Lord and Savior on Tues. (Oct. 10, 2023), at the Living Center North. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Sat. (Oct. 21), at Faith Community Church, in Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Janice was born on June 12, 1955, in Unidilla, GA and was a daughter of the late Fletcher and Lillie Mae (Walker) Whitfield.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hennigan; children, Tania Hoover, Regina "Tasha" (Luis) Rodriguez, Jr., Ray Hennigan and Laryan Hennigan; bonus child, Monique (Willie) Hayes-Addie; siblings, Jane Power, Lee Renford, Odell Miner, George Walker, Louise McCray, Floyd Whitfield, Alphonso Whitfield, Carol Whitfield, Leonard Whitfield and John Whitfield; special niece, Amayla Mazzocchi; special nephew, Akeem Whitfield;14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; goddaughter Denise Knight; and dearest friend Pastor Carolyn Falligan.

Janice was predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Whitfield and granddaughter, Rashanna Iasia Robinson.
