GENEVA- Sandra Madera, 54, passed away peacefully on Tues. (Nov. 21, 2023), at Rochester General Hospital. Friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. Mon. (Dec. 4), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Sandra was born on Oct. 1, 1969, in Yauco, Puerto Rico and was a daughter of the late Confesor Madera Lugo and the late Gloria Madera Mercado. She enjoyed coloring, listening to music, and spending time with her grandsons, family and friends. But she also enjoyed laughter the most.
She is survived by her sons, Seovanni M. (Janice) Ortolaza of Waterloo and Sergio Ortolaza of Geneva; brothers, Melvin (Tina) Madera of Geneva and Alvin (S.O. Amber Breeds) Madera of Waterloo; sisters, Felicita (Felix) Mattei of Waterloo, Maribel Torres of Geneva and Maria A. Torres of Florida; grandchildren, Seovann and Sebastian Ortolaza; nieces and nephews, Felix Mattei, Iraida Mattei, Reinaldo Bodon, Exzavier Mattei, Jacqueline Perez, Deborah Camacho, Marinez Pesante, Pablo Falbru Jr., Gloria Falbru, Ladismer Roberts, Melvin Madera, Yamilet Madera, Rebecca Gonzalez, Crystal Baker, Tony Brown, Felix Torres, Armando Torres, Zaymelix Torres, Mary Montes, Jaycet, Zachary, and many more; boyfriend, Ruben Roman Salgado, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her sister, Mariel Madera and brothers, Felix Torres, Confesor Madera, and step-brother, Santiago Torres.
