GENEVA- Helen M. Cady, 86, passed away on Wed. (Oct. 9, 2013), at Strong Memorial Hospital. A graveside service was held at Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Roswell Park Cancer Institute 666 Elm St. Buffalo, NY 14263, or St. Francis De Sales Church 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456.
Helen was born on Aug. 26, 1927 in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Rollo) Passalacqua. She was a saintly woman who loved tending her garden, reading and cooking.
She is survived by her son, Earl Frederick Parmelee, Jr. of Geneva; daughter, Nancy Jean Parmelee of Dallas, TX; husband, Phillip D. Cady of Waterloo; brother, Bernard Passalacqua of Geneva; sister, Jane Clark of Waterloo; grandchildren, Kimberly and Billy Flick; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Genung and Jacob Flick; special friend, Alexis Ann Jones; several nieces and nephews.
Helen was predeceased by a son, Mark Steven Parmelee; sisters, Mary (George) Woodard and Margaret (David) Schlueter; infant brother, Ralph, Jr.
