Joseph A. Swarts

GENEVA-Joseph Swarts passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2023 at his home. Family and friends may call Wed. (Dec. 6) from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva, NY. A Military service will be Thurs. (Dec. 7) at 11 am at Sampson Veteran Memorial Cemetery.

Joe was born on June 11, 1956 in Penn Yan, NY and was the son of the late Charles F. and Cora Mae (Corbitt) Swarts, Jr. He went to Dundee Central School and lived in Himrod, NY until joining the Army. After serving our country, Joe returned to Penn Yan, Geneva, Rochester and Florida. Finally settling down in Geneva where he lived with his beloved dog Eddie. Joe enjoyed lighthouses and sailboats. He was known for always walking his dog.

Joe is survived by his siblings Glennis Charles Swarts (Kim Chapmin), Gary (Barb) Swarts, Barbara (Rugg) Swarts, Roger A. (Cindy) Swarts, Andrew L. Swarts (Orlando Rodriguez), Douglas P. (Lorena) Swarts, Dale E. (Brenda) Swarts, Norman V. (Patty) Swarts; many Nieces and Nephews; his favorite dog Eddie and his dear friend Keith.

He is a Loved Brother that will be missed by all.
