WATERLOO- Diane Marie Towers, 61, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Dec. 6, 2023), at Geneva General Hospital, with her family by her side. In honoring her wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Diane was born on Dec. 10, 1961, in Washington D.C. and was a daughter of the late Paul G. and Janice V. (Phillips) Milcarek. Diane loved spending time with family, especially her children and granddaughter. She loved being a Nana. She may have left Maryland but she never left behind her love of MD Blue Crabs. She loved jigsaw puzzles, completing 1000s of 1000 piece puzzles in her life. Anyone who spoke with her in the last decade knows she developed a fondness for baseball, especially the NY Yankees. She could often be seen wearing her Yankees hat and carrying her Nana cup.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Towers of Waterloo; daughter, Elizabeth M. (Jason Hoover) Towers of Delaware; son, Andrew C. Towers of Delaware; sister, Denise (Jim Price) Milcarek of Maryland; brother, Duane (Denise) Milcarek of Maryland; granddaughter, Julianne M. Hoover; nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
