Diantha J. Campbell WATERLOO-Diantha J. Campbell, 85, passed away peacefully on Fri. (Nov. 24, 2023) at the Geneva Living Center. There will be a service announced at a later date. Contributions, in her name, may be directed to the Presbyterian Church in Geneva; 24 Park Place Geneva, NY 14456. Diantha was born on October 5, 1938 in Geneva and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Josephine (Essom) Campbell. She Graduated from Geneva High School in1956 and Geneseo State Teachers School in 1960. While in College Diantha was a member of the Arethusa Sorority. She taught First Grade at Stanley Building, Stanley, NY, Marcus Whitman School District, in Rushville, NY., Geneva North Street School, Community College of the Finger Lakes, and various Day Care Centers including Bright Beginnings in Phelps, NY. Diantha retired from teaching at 80 yrs. old. She was a lifelong member of Geneva Presbyterian Church. Diantha loved Bible Study and teaching Sunday School. She was a member of Chief Taughannock Chapter, NSDAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). She is survived by her daughter Susan E. (Randy) Powell of Clifton Springs, NY; many cousins and friends.
