GENEVA-Katherine H. "Kay" DiRaddo, passed away peacefully on Thursday (January 25, 2024) at the Geneva Living Center with her family at her side. In honoring Kay's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends may attend A Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday (January 31) at St. Frances De Sales Church at 11 am. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange Street, Geneva or Ontario Yates Hospice, 756 Pre Emption Road, Geneva, NY in her memory. Kay was born on December 17,1939 in Rochester, NY and was the daughter of the late Helen (Sehm) and Michael Boland. She graduated from Holy Apostle Elementary School and Nazareth Academy High School. Kay was employed at McCurdy's Department Store for 20 yrs. and Lincoln Rochester Bank for 5 yrs. She is survived by her sister, Margaret "Peggy" (Anthony) Yazback; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and dear friends. Kay was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. DiRaddo; brothers Tom (Audrey), David, Jack, and Michael Boland; sisters, Marion (Andy) McBride, Barbara (George) Bleckinger, Anne (Howard) Crissy and Eleanor (Harold) Meeker.
